CMS Card Services LLC provides merchant payment services and related educational tools under brands such as CMS Payment Solutions, CMS Statement Review, CMS POS Solutions, CMS Simple Payments, CMS B2B Payments, CMS Interchange Plus, CMS Surcharge Program, CMS Cash Discount Program, and CMS Payment Security. We serve businesses across the United States.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our site, we may collect:

• Contact and business details you provide (name, email, phone, business name, DBA, industry, location, website, and similar information).
• Processing and statement information from files you upload or data you enter (volume, fees, card mix, terminals, and related merchant-statement content).
• Merchant application information needed to underwrite and board an account (legal entity details, EIN/Tax ID, owner identity information such as SSN and date of birth when requested, ownership percentage, home and business addresses, banking details for deposits/fees, and personal guarantee acknowledgements).
• Device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and referral source.
• Communications you send us through forms, email, or other channels we make available.

Sensitive fields (for example SSN, full bank account numbers, and government ID images) are collected only when needed for merchant underwriting. Until our secure vault/collection pathway is enabled, final submission of those sensitive values is blocked on this site.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

• Provide statement review estimates, product recommendations, and educational content.
• Verify business identity and addresses, and prepare merchant applications.
• Route you to suitable CMS payment products and pricing options.
• Communicate about your inquiry, application status, support, and service updates.
• Improve site performance, security, fraud prevention, and customer experience.
• Comply with law, card-brand rules, processor/acquirer requirements, and audits.

Website estimates and educational content are preliminary. Final pricing, underwriting decisions, and account terms are controlled by the approved merchant processing agreement and applicable program requirements.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Payment processors, underwriters, and sponsoring banks as needed to review, approve, board, and service a merchant account.
• Service providers that host our website, analyze statements, store data, send communications, or support operations under confidentiality obligations.
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting, compliance) when reasonably necessary.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

If we use AI-assisted tools to help read a statement or draft a review, those tools process the content you provide solely to deliver that service and are configured for business use with appropriate access controls.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential site functions (for example remembering a confirmed business state), security, analytics, and performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may limit site features.

6. How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Please use strong unique passwords for any accounts you control and avoid sending sensitive data over unsecured channels.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, complete applications, meet legal and contractual retention requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by record type (for example marketing inquiries vs. underwriting files).

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of certain personal information, or to opt out of certain sharing. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are commonly defined.

9. Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Third-party sites

Our site may reference educational topics or resources. If you leave our site, those third-party sites have their own privacy practices. This Policy applies only to CMS Card Services LLC properties.
